Home Fellowships begin January 18, 2009
OUR BASIS
The biblical precedent for small groups is found in Acts 2:46-47. We believe it is beneficial that we should meet together both in the large group (at church) and in the small group (home) settings.
ACTS 2:46-47
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
OUR PURPOSE
The Home Fellowships ministry of FBC should help us grow as a church in the following areas:
1. Deeper Fellowship and Relationships
2. Give and Take over the Word (Conversation)
3. Deeper Application of Biblical Truth
4. Mutual Accountability
5. Knowledgeable Prayer
6. Nurture and Use of Spiritual Gifts
OUR VISION
Our church’s vision: “We exist to delight in, display, and declare the glory of God, equipping His people to spread that delight to all nations through Jesus Christ.”
