Our Bible for Life classes are designed to give a comprehensive understanding of God’s Word that can be applied in every part of life.
We invite you to look over these classes and prayerfully consider which class will most help you as you continue growing in Christ.
Paul writes this tender letter to repair the hope of the Thessalonian Christians in the wake of unexpected deaths of people in the congregation, and to reassure them that both the dead and the living were destined to be saved at the second coming of Jesus Christ! Those to be saved must be holy and blameless and God, who is faithful, will produce holiness in the lives of those he calls. He reassured them that persecution is normal for the Christian, so stay the course and live to please God! Christ’s second coming is mentioned in every chapter!
James is written to a group of believers who are being encouraged to live a joy filled life as they endure trials and mature in their faith. He does this by providing us with practical ways to work out our faith and demonstrate it in real life applications, and by strengthening the theological foundation of our Christian worldview.
God has a glorious purpose in creating man in His image, male and female. That’s right…gender matters. In recent years our culture has suffered from an increasing confusion on the issues of manhood and womanhood—what does it mean to be a man or a woman, and how can men and women live together in maximum fruitfulness and happiness? The purpose of this class is to rediscover God’s glorious purpose of what it means to be godly men and godly women, and to delight in these roles as God has defined them. This study will explore what the scripture says about gender, gender roles for the home, the church, and how society often exchanges the truth of gender roles for a lie.
