We gather men together in big groups a few times a year. We do this at our men’s retreat and early morning prayer breakfasts. Our hope is that friendships, among those new to the church as well as those who have been part of First for a long time, would form and be strengthened as we get to know one another better.
We encourage small groups and one-on-one discipleship among the men at FBCD. At times throughout the year we will launch more formal times of discipleship, but we hope that mutual accountability and discipleship will flourish in natural relationships.
We pursue service projects throughout the year. We know one of the main ways that men get to know one another is by serving side by side. We also want to meet the needs of people in the church by offering our time and energy in physical labor.
