Chase was born in Virginia Beach, but grew up in western North Carolina. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 and received his B.A. in Political Science and Chinese Language.  Prior to coming on staff at FBC in January 2016, he worked for State Employees’ Credit Union, but was excited for the opportunity to use his financial background and love for international ministry to serve the church. He completed his MDiv at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and has been a member of FBC since 2009. Chase has been married to Laura since 2012, and they have three children, Joanna (2014), Andrew (2016), and Benjamin (2022).
