James Batchelor

Elder

James was born in California then lived in Florida before moving to North Carolina in 1993. He graduated from NC State University in 2003 with a BS in Computer Science. James came to faith as a child, grew up going to church, and is thankful for parents and the many teachers and mentors who discipled him through his youth and college. James and his wife Sonya joined FBC in 2005. While at FBC James has served in the international ministry, worship ministry, served as a deacon and has taught Bible for Life classes and has led and hosted Home Fellowships. James and Sonya have five children, Abel, Charlotte, Samuel, Esther, and Lydia.
