Susan Browning

Worship Ministry Assistant

Susan was born in Winston-Salem, NC, and graduated with a degree in mathematics from Guilford College in Greensboro. She is a retired high school math teacher (taught 30 years, 27 of those at Northern High School). She came to FBC Durham in 1976 and is currently serving as Worship Assistant, member of the Worship Choir, Director of Handbell choirs, and BFL teacher (1 year olds). She is married to Kenny Browning and has three sons who all grew up at FBC: Chuck, John, and Joe. They also have three grandsons: CJ, Jack, and Patrick.
