Jay King

Director of Children's Ministry

Jay grew up on the east coast in New Bern, North Carolina. He has been a member of First Baptist Church since 2014 and began serving on staff in 2023 as the Director of Children's Ministries. Jay received his B.A. in communications from North Carolina State University and his M. Div. in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Erika and together they have one daughter, Lauryn (2023), and another baby girl due in April 2025.
