The Senior Adults Ministry at FBC Durham gathers monthly for fellowship and encouragement in our faith and seeks to care for our homebound members.
Monthly Luncheons
We host monthly luncheons that entail food, fellowship, and a guest speaker or performance group to encourage and challenge us in our faith. We will also occasionally arrange outings/trips and can provide transportation for those who need it. Past group outings include the State Farmer’s Market in Raleigh, Historic Bennett Place, and the Billy Graham Library.
Please join us for this month's luncheon on Tuesday, May 26 at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall as we continue to celebrate Memorial Day and as Lakeisha Blake with Pregnancy Support Services shares the joys and challenges of her work with this much needed organization. We'll enjoy a lunch of hot dogs followed by ice cream sundaes. Cost is $10 per person.
You must RSVP by Noon on Friday, May 22 by emailing or calling the church office 919-688-7308 x33.
Homebound Ministry
We care for our homebound members through home visitations, bible studies in local nursing homes, providing rides and meals, and regular prayer for them.
